Our Classes
There are 4 levels to choose from, depending on your own WCS learning stage.
Each cycle of weekly classes starts in September and ends in June. An additional beginners‘ cycle starts in January. Each class lasts one hour plus twenty minutes of practice.
Classes are taught in French and English.

Level 1
— Beginners —
Discovering WCS
In a relaxed atmosphere, this foundational course teaches the principles that are unique to WCS (basic step, anchor step, connection & elasticity, rhythm) and the main basic figures. Thanks to a structured program and amusing drills, you will learn to dance while having fun.
Please note: street shoes not allowed - only dance shoes for indoor use or socks.

Improvers
—
Developing your WCS
The Improvers Level focuses on intermediate techniques such as Rock’nGo, Delayed One, patter extensions, pivots, and turns.
It introduces basic elements of improvisation, groove, and musicality.
A solid understanding of the fundamentals of WCS (basic patterns, timing, elasticity, connection, Lead & Follow) is required.
Please note: street shoes not allowed - only dance shoes for indoor use or socks.

Elevating your WCS
This class is tailored for seasoned dancers aiming to elevate their technique, movement quality, and musical interpretation. Focusing on advanced WCS elements, the course delves into musical theory, rhythmic nuances (straight vs. swung), genre-specific styling, blues, body isolation, complex footwork, cut-time, pirouettes, and rides.
The class is preceded (from 7:00 to 7:30 PM) by a session of physical conditioning for WCS.

Level 4

Competitors—
Competition, Performance, Teaching
This exclusive module is tailored for dedicated competitors and WCS teachers, offering a deep dive into musical theory, advanced techniques, competition dynamics, and video analysis to sharpen your critical eye.
Note: Entry is reserved for competitors (WSDC novice points required).
Students who have completed the “Experienced” level may attend as observers (with no interaction with instructors), provided they come with a partner and do not participate in rotations.

Additional Beginner Course (Jan–June)
A new beginner course starts in mid-January and runs through early June.

After one year of experience, you can join:
