What You Need to Know About West Coast Swing

​​West Coast Swing is a social dance based on improvisation. This means it's danced with a variety of partners (hence the "social") and not choreographed (hence the "improvisation" element). Dancing West Coast Swing is like having a conversation with someone who shares the same vocabulary and grammar, but who has something new to say each time.

Weekly classes are the best way to absorb new concepts, build a social network, and benefit from the group's progress. Peer practice sessions and conditioning for WCS complete the offer for maximum results.

Sunday Socials

Our bi-monthly practices are an essential part of learning. They allow you to review and absorb concepts while having fun, dance with experienced dancers, and meet other club members.

Masterclasses

Our masterclasses are an excellent way to deepen your understanding of specific concepts with the help of WCS professionals from around the world.

Trial Classes

These allow you to try simplified figures and experience the energy of dance without registration or commitment.

International Rally

Choreography and other one-off activities boost your progress through repetition and the refinement of technical details.

Private lessons

Private lessons give you unparalleled, one-on-one attention and feedback. It's the fastest way to improve, but it doesn't replace weekly lessons or social gatherings.
