About Ardena: Ardena’s dance journey began with salsa and blossomed during two years of ballroom dancing in the USA. In 2010, she discovered West Coast Swing and instantly knew she had found her dance “home.” Since then, she has been a driving force in developing the WCS community in Norway. She is also the founder and organizer of Winter White, a WSDC event that has been going strong for over 10 years. With a background in psychology, fitness, and yoga, Ardena brings a holistic and thoughtful approach to her teaching. For her, dance isn’t just about steps and technique—it’s a path to personal growth. She’s passionate about helping people build confidence, connect with their bodies and the music, and grow through community and creativity. She believes in following your passions while staying rooted in what matters most: family, connection, and the courage to become your full self.
